Struggling with List Building?

Some days you just wonder what you’re doing, don’t you? Trying to make a business online seems such an attractive thing to do but there’s so much stuff out there to learn! Loads of offers of products that will make you an instant business an instant income… You buy all this stuff, download it all, start watching , listening or reading and then you remember you need to check out something else and then.. something else and then before long you’ve completely forgotten what you’re doing

We’ve both got computers stuffed full of “essential learning”, “silver bullets” and “secret tips and tricks and cheat sheets” which are apparently going earn us so much money that we’ll both appear in next years top ten rich list!

The reality is that some of those products we haven’t even opened.. let alone used, do you have the same?

Wow.. how did we get here?

Luckily our mentors and helping with this, we been told to stop buying endless products at $1000′s a time and … we’re going to create our own!… We are?

Yes.. we are!  And we’re going to start looking at
this as a business, and a business needs customers.  So we are going to
create a customer database or a email list or “list” as it is commonly known.

OK.. been there.. done that.. it’s not easy!  Well,  all of our mentors have built huge lists and they make huge incomes from them…

That’s it… We’re going to create a list by …

Great Minds Think Alike!

One thing’s for sure and that’s, to be successful, you must mix with other successful people.
It is no good playing below your ability and expecting your game to improve! Being among people who achieve is so inspiring. So when the chance came to go and see some of the highest achieving individuals on the planet arose… we just had to be there.

This coming weekend, the Excel London Exhibition Centre plays host to some incredibly successful people and we’re going along to listen and learn and to network with like minded people.
National Achievers Congress 2011 is going to be AWESOME and with a line up that includes Lord Alan Sugar, Sir Richard Branson and Anthony Robbins, we’re expecting to learn alot!

Alex Jeffreys and Dean Holland and the BIG CHANGE!

Richard here…

Wow! Just spent yesterday at The Instant Profit Seminar in Camden, London. What a day and what value! Alex Jefferys and Dean Holland really know how to deliver and when I drove home last night, I realised that they had switched the light on for me!

Spending all day relaying as much as possible to Ian Wicks. He is as excited as I am about this as this has already been of huge benefit to us. These two guys really have the proof of how to make a successful online buisiness, from Alex’s talk on how he made a $1,000,000 in 21 days to Dean’s real time demonstration of hundreds of dollars being paid into his account from his latest project as he was speaking to us on stage!

Time’s are changing already and for us and I can feel the difference in the way we are thinking already!

Can’t wait to be on the first webinar of Alex and Dean’s new course that we’re fortunate to be one of only 10 buinesses that are going to be personally mentored by these two great marketers!

Why Mentors Are So Important!

“If you want to be successful, find someone who has achieved the results you want and copy what they do and you’ll achieve the same results.”  Anthony Robbins

The quote above from Tony Robbins is so true! When we started our off  line businesses we didn’t just start up with no prior knowledge of the industries we were working in.  We learnt the skills and the markets from people who had already achieved the success we desired.  So, we know how important it is to find a Mentor and to model their behavoiur to gain the same success that they already have.

Easier said than done? Quite possibly!

Finding the right person to model has been difficult so far.  There are many so called “gurus”  in this industry.  OK, there are some undeniably very successful people but there’s also …plenty of sharks.

Even when you learn to recognise those people that have “faked it” it’s still hard work to find good mentors that will provide real honest coaching and who over deliver on value.

We’ve have found some really good people since we started in I.M. but we’ve also found our fair share of the sharks too.

Next weekend, 11th -12th of June, there is a seminar in London on called “The Instant Profit Seminar” This is led my Alex Jefferys, someone we’ve both heard alot about but haven’t met yet.  His track record seems just the job and he’s mentored some now really successful marketers. One of his students is Dean Holland who has done extremely well in a very short period of time under the wing of Alex Jefferys.  We’ve met Dean Holland before so it seems like a “must” to get one of only a couple of hundred V.I.P tickets!

One of the reasons for us working to together is that we both have families and family life is top of  both our priority lists.  We are looking to work online and to become financially independent so we can spend more time with them.  However, we need to get training and use a lot of  our spare time to develop our business too. But taking a weekend out is not always possible for both of us.

However, it is always going to be likely that even if one of us can’t spare the time, the other will be able to and that, is the case for this event, as Ian is in Majorca on holiday with his family and although he wanted to go so much that he tried to get an earlier flight back so he could attend, the times didn’t work out, so he won’t be able to.

Richard also has a pre planned family event on the Saturday but will attend on the Sunday and will ensure he picks up as much training and information as he can.
